Product Description
One lady’s 14-18kt yellow and white gold, diamond and ruby ring. Item is previously enjoyed.
Gift yourself a little piece of history with this truly vintage piece. Designed with Victorian Era aspects, this off-centred gemstone and diamond ring is crafted in a mix of 14-18kt yellow and white golds, with a decorative and frilly diamond cluster surrounding the cabochon cut ruby.
Set within the “halo” are a mix of twenty old European, single and rose cut diamonds weighing an approximate total weight of 0.40ct. These stones are graded with VS to SI clarities, H-I colour, and fair to medium cut. Despite their lower cut, the open setting allows for extra light to penetrate these unique stones. The large, oval, ruby centre stone measures at 11.10 x 7.60 x 4.80mm, with an approximate carat weight of 4.50ct. This “medium cut” cabochon has a “medium tone, moderately strong intensity” with a pinkish red colour hue, and moderate inclusions. Its vibrant, creamy red appearance is complimented by the surrounding yellow gold design, accenting the shape and putting it in the spotlight.
This previously loved piece is currently sized to a 5.75.
