One 14k yellow gold and pearl mourning brooch. Item condition is previously loved.
A true piece of history showcased by its vintage design, and old-world style gold craftsmanship.
The spherical base of this piece is slightly domed, with several layers bordering the edges of milgrain and delicate scroll detailing. Soldered to the centre, a beautiful three-dimensional ribbon wraps around itself with three carefully crafted loops, each accented by borders of the same scroll detailing.
Encompassing the three loops is a bevelled, round shaped bauble embedded with six lustrous white pearls of graduating sizes. The peaks of each ribbon ripple past the borders of the base, showcasing two decorative gold bulbs with strands of interlocked, malleable gold.
This piece does not come with a certificate of appraisal; pearl qualities and sizes are unknown.
Retail value approximated at $3,000.00.
