Product Description
One 14k yellow gold, emerald and diamond vintage brooch. Item condition is previously loved.
Free form in its design, a sweeping curve of vibrant yellow gold wraps around itself before splitting into three tendrils, each adorned with a square old European cut diamond, followed by a pear shaped and faceted, bluish green emerald.
The three emeralds amass an approximate total weight of 2.00cts., with approximate measurements of 8.2/8.0 – 6.5/5.0 x 3.5/2.2mm, and face up cloudy through their “moderately strong to strong, slightly bluish green colour”, from the moderate to heavily included interiors, but offer a subtle glimmer from the medium to good quality cut.
The three diamonds approximately measure 3.0 – 2.6mm, with an approximate total weight of 0.60ct., and qualities by gauge of I-1 clarity and H-I-J colour range. This 9.9-gram brooch is fitted with a hinged pin with a tube-shaped catch for peace of mind in its security.
