One 18k white gold, tanzanite and diamond, custom made ring. Item is trademarked and previously loved, on consignment, and in very good condition.
Found in only one place on Earth, near the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, tanzanite’s are not only exotic in aesthetic appearance, but in their nature. Tanzanite’s are one of the rarest, most sought-after gemstones this beautiful world has to offer, making them more precious than diamonds.
Serving as the focal point of this stellar piece is a 3.06ct., pear shaped and faceted tanzanite. Facing up with a moody violet purple, marbled with deep blue accents, this “medium tone of strong, violetish blue” coloured stone has an approximate spread of 10.50 – 8.20 x 5.30mm, showing off the “type I” eye-clean interior that glistens from the good quality cut.
Silhouetting the centre gemstone are fourteen stunning round brilliant diamonds, creating the perfect backdrop. Approximately measuring 2.55 – 2.50 x 1.52mm, with an approximate total weight of 0.83ct., these rounds dance with their SI-1 to I-1 clarity, near colourless G-H grading, and good to very good quality cut.
Embedded within the high polished shoulders, cascading from the basket gallery semi-eternity style, are an additional fourteen baguette cut diamonds that provide an additional 0.37ct. worth of shimmering beauty. These step-cuts have been closely matched with the rounds, grading with qualities by gauge of VS to SI clarity, G-H colour, and good quality cut.
Perfect as a dinner ring or engagement ring for the non-traditional bride, it is an eye-catcher through and through.
Currently sized at a 7.5.
