Product Description
One lady’s custom 18kt white gold, jade and diamond ring. Item is previously enjoyed.
It’s no secret that jade has been highly valued and utilized since prehistoric times, having been used to make jewellery, decorative objects, and even musical instruments and weapons thanks to the stone’s hardness. The importance of jade has stretched across many cultures and generations, with the most notable being China. Even today, it remains the strongest market for this gorgeous green stone.
Custom made in its design, this previously enjoyed piece speaks of its historical and cultural background with its cabochon cut center stone, single cut diamonds, and baguettes, combining to create a truly one-of-a-kind piece in 18kt white gold.
Semi translucent and “medium dark tone of strong green colour”, the oval cabochon jade measures 18.5 - 13.2 x 4.1mm, with a lustrous polished finish, and good cut. Haloing the gemstone, are thirty-two single cut diamonds weighing an approximate total of 0.40ct. Though graded with SI-2 to I-2 clarities, H-I colour, and medium to fair cut, that doesn’t dare stop these stones from glistening and dancing with light in their stark white setting.
As a finishing touch, edging onto the dainty band on either side, are the six baguette cut diamonds, weighing an approximate total of 0.08ct. These step-cut beauties range from VS-SI clarity, near colourless grading of G-H, and medium/good cut.
A beautiful way to show your respect and cultural appreciation, this one and only ring is destined to carry on through many generations to come.
Currently sized to a 7.
