Product Description
One lady's 18kt rose gold, morganite and diamond ring. Item is trademarked and is new. Made popular in the Western world in the late 15th century, archduke Maximillian of Austria commissioned the very first diamond engagement ring. Originally very ornate in style, over the years we have simplified these rings to showcase a single centre stone, moving away from what was known as the "Posey ring". Fashioned in bright 18kt rose gold, this aureate design pays homage to its unorthodox roots while showing off its modern attributes. Beverly K specializes in old world craftsmanship. Each and every diamond and gemstone alike are hand-selected to flawlessly match and are all hand polished. Their skilled artisans engrave and mill by hand, creating true pieces of art. This piece is no different, with its millgrain bezels and borders, and delicate claw-work. This low-profile setting is intricately carved with an open floral interior, expanding the amount of light exposure to provide each stone with the capabilities to dance and dazzle. Set as the centre stone in this ring, a 7.0-5.0mm oval shaped, faceted morganite shines. Weighing approximately .64ct, this “moderately strong, slightly purplish pink” coloured stone is lightly included, with a good cut; accentuated by the soft copper-toned metal. The ten round brilliant cut diamonds, of 0.30ctw, and six baguette cut stones totalling 0.27ct, are all expertly selected to match in their qualities of VS clarity, near colourless gauged at F-G, and very good to excellent cut. This perfected blend of modern and vintage enchants, and beckons with its ornate design, suitable for a more unique take on an engagement ring or as a fashion piece. This Beverly K ring is a stock size 6.5. Certificate of appraisal provided by Gem Grade Appraisal Service, with a “suggested insurance coverage” of $4,300.00.
