Product Description
Encompassed by a cushion shaped halo of diamonds, a dazzling display of light reflection shines from the 0.52ct. princess cut Canadian mined centre stone and accompanying round brilliant cuts. While the centre stone measures 4.68 x 4.51 x 3.13mm, the halo serves to extend the table on all sides and improve the overall appearance with the aiding refractions, giving the square brilliant cut a larger and brighter presentation. Appraised with qualities gauged by an eye-clean SI-2 clarity, stark white in the colourless range with an F grading, and a twinkling sparkle with thanks to the Very Good quality cut, this princess cut diamond simply steals the show.
Having been graded and weighed by GS Laboratories, prior to being set in the mount, the Canadian stone has exact quality information as well as a unique laser inscription along the girdle, and a GS Number. This inscription matches the documentation provided and is used as both proof of authenticity, as well as a form of tracking. The CM number can be cross referenced on the Maple Leaf Diamonds website (www.mapleleafdiamonds.com/tracking), while the GS Number can be referenced on their website (http://certificate.gslaboratories.com).
Claw set within the high polished Pure White 18k (14% Palladium) nickel-free gold of the halo and the petite band, a total of thirty-two round brilliant cut diamonds have been used to decorate. Approximately measuring 1.40 to 1.10mm., accumulating an approximate total weight of 0.30ct., these dainty stones are graded with SI clarity, near colourless range of G-H, with matching Very Good cut.
Presenting as a hidden surprise, a 0.01ctw. natural fancy intense yellow Canadian diamond can be found on the inside of the shank, bezel set within the pristine white gold. This diamond bears its own unique inscription which can also be referenced on the MLD website provided.
Certificate of Origin and Evaluation provided by Maple Leaf Diamonds and GS Laboratories, with a “replacement value” of $6,800.00.

Canadian diamond and gold mines have some of the strictest regulations when it comes down to ethical and environmental standards, ensuring that our ecosystems, environment and the people employed within these companies are taken care of. We believe in the social justice for Indigenous Canadian’s and support strong labour laws to ensure these workers, within the mines and surrounding areas, are treated well, paid well, and are protected by their Unions.
Here at Barry’s, we work very closely with Maple Leaf Diamonds because their Green Initiative aligns with our own. All their products, gold and diamonds alike, are ethically sourced and environmentally sound right here in Canada. In tandem with their product, we know that their employees are being respected and their hard work honoured.
