Each and every cameo is a work of art, hand carved into its chosen material. Their exquisite classic beauty has held the attention of generations, serving as popular gifts for Mother’s Day, milestone birthdays, and weddings, which are then usually passed down for similar occasions.

This particular cameo has been hand-carved into the most frequently used shell; the carnelian shell. These are soft peach or orange in colour, which offers the contrast between the foreground and background colours. Three lady’s figures are depicted on the large oval, measuring approximately 78.0 – 60.0mm. in size.

The pendant is encased in custom designed 18kt yellow gold, with twenty-four intricately detailed gold leaves serving as “prongs”, holding the piece against the frame of the setting. It has also been fit with a “V” shaped bale, and hinged pin, providing its owner with wearable option. The total size of the pendant is 80.0 – 61.0mm.
