Product Description
One ladies 14kt white gold, Art Deco design diamond, Beverly K ring. Item is trademarked and the condition is new.
Made popular in the Western world in the late 15th century, archduke Maximillian of Austria commissioned the very first diamond engagement ring. Originally very ornate in style, over the years we have simplified these rings to showcase a single centre stone, moving away from what was known as the ""Posey ring"". Fashioned in bright 18kt rose gold, this aureate design pays homage to its unorthodox roots while showing off its modern attributes.
Beverly K specializes in old world craftsmanship. Each and every diamond and gemstone alike are hand-selected to flawlessly match and are all hand polished. Their skilled artisans engrave and mill by hand, creating true pieces of art. This piece is no different, with its pierced scroll shoulders, milgrained borders, and delicate claw-work.
The focal point of this Cathedral styled ring is set with a 4.99 x 4.76 x 2.87mm. Old European cut diamond with a total weight of 0.43ct. This once popular cut presents itself with eye-clean characteristics despite its SI-2 clarity and faces up white with its near colourless gauge of G and radiates a soft shimmer per the Fair cut. Due to the age of Old European cut diamonds, this particular stone is chipped at the girdle.
Embedded within the scroll designs along either side of the shoulders are two round brilliant cut diamonds – one per side. These 1.00mm stones have an approximate total weight of 0.01ct. but hold their own with qualities by gauge of SI-1 clarity, F-G near colourless, and Very Good cut.
This perfected blend of modern and vintage enchants, and beckons with its ornate design, suitable for a more unique take on an engagement ring or as a fashion piece.
This Beverly K ring is a stock size 6.5.
