Product Description
Impossibly unique, this Canadian mined engagement ring is set with an oval shaped centre stone, framed by an elongated cushion shaped border of round brilliant cut diamonds and accented by a Cathedral style foundation, further lavished diamonds.
Held within four dainty prongs of Pure White 18k (14% Palladium) nickel-free gold, the spready table of the oval measures at 7.85 – 5.34 x 3.14mm, appearing much larger than its weight of only 0.80ct. To make this Canadian beauty even better, it has been appraised with qualities gauged by an eye-clean SI-1 clarity, a stark white colourless grading at an F, with an Excellent quality cut that truly brings out the mirror-like finish on each twinkling facet.
Having been graded and weighed by GS Laboratories, prior to being set in the mount, the Canadian stone has exact quality information as well as a unique laser inscription along the girdle, and a GS Number. This inscription matches the documentation provided and is used as both proof of authenticity, as well as a form of tracking. The CM number can be cross referenced on the Maple Leaf Diamonds website (www.mapleleafdiamonds.com/tracking), while the GS Number can be referenced on their website (http://certificate.gslaboratories.com).
Claw set within the bright white metal, a total of thirty-four round brilliant cut diamonds have been used between the halo and band, providing a ravishing finish that ties the piece together. Approximately measured at 1.9mm to 1.6mm, accumulating an approximate total weight of 0.72ct., these modestly sized stones pack a fiery punch with their SI clarity, F-G near colourless, and Very Good quality cut.
Certificate of Origin and Appraisal provided by Maple Leaf Diamonds, GS Laboratories, and Gem Grade Appraisal Service, located in Toronto, with a “suggested insurance coverage” of $10,000.00.

Canadian diamond and gold mines have some of the strictest regulations when it comes down to ethical and environmental standards, ensuring that our ecosystems, environment and the people employed within these companies are taken care of. We believe in the social justice for Indigenous Canadian’s and support strong labour laws to ensure these workers, within the mines and surrounding areas, are treated well, paid well, and are protected by their Unions.
Here at Barry’s, we work very closely with Maple Leaf Diamonds because their Green Initiative aligns with our own. All their products, gold and diamonds alike, are ethically sourced and environmentally sound right here in Canada. In tandem with their product, we know that their employees are being respected and their hard work honoured.
