One sterling silver flask. Item is previously owned.
This sterling silver flask may not make a great drinking piece, but it will make a great conversation piece. Measuring approximately 3.75” x 5”, and weighing a total of 164.62g., this silver relic has several stampings to showcase the age and environment it was produced.
The front face is engraved with the initials, “J.L.F”. The bottom has several different engravings and stampings as follows: “46 T”, “JD&S”, “Gieves LTD. 80 Piccadilly”, as well as the Crown, Lion and X Hallmark stamps.
These notations depict this piece was made in Sheffield, England circa 1850-1867 by James Dixon & Sons.
