One lady’s platinum and diamond ring. Item condition is previously enjoyed and features some wear and tear. Truly a relic of the past, this gorgeous piece of history is crafted in one of the most durable metals and adorned almost solely with vintage cut diamonds. The design in itself is vintage, but by no means is it outdated. The twenty-seven diamonds set within the platinum are all old European cuts; the same diamonds that were hand cut to improve their colour and clarity. You can rest assured that there is no shortage of dazzling, crystal-clear, sparkle radiating from each of these stones. The focal points of this piece are portrayed with four diamonds, with approximate measurements of 5.20 to 5.60 x 3.40mm., an approximate total weight of 2.55ct., and qualities by gauge of VS-2 to I-1 clarity, G-J colour range, and Good cut. Two of these diamonds do have some damage, as listed in the appraisal. In tandem with these eye-catching stunners, another two diamonds with approximate measurements of 4.30 x 4.20 x 3.25mm., and a total weight of 0.75ct., add to the swirling cluster with their qualities of SI-1 to SI-2 clarity, H-I colour, and Good cut. Both of these diamonds are abraded on the “facet junctions”. Lastly, outlining the curved edges and side accents, are a total of twenty-one old European cuts, combined with new age round brilliant cut diamonds. These stones have approximate measurements of 2.70 to 2.00mm., an approximate total weight of 1.01ct., and qualities by gauge of VS-1 to SI-1 clarity, G-H colour, and Good cut. Two of the diamonds are chipped at the girdle. While this ring may have some physical flaws to it, it doesn’t take away from the intense beauty or stunning craftsmanship. This ring is well worn and deserves to have its story continued. Currently sized at a 7.25., ready-to-wear is an understatement. Certificate of appraisal provided by International Gem Assessment Inc.
