One sterling silver Russian Rouble, dated 1853. This coin depicts the two-headed eagle with a crown above on the face, and Russian inscription reading “Pure Silver 4 zolotniks 21 dolyas (parts)”, on the reverse. This coin was in production under rule of Nikolai I. The coin has approximate measurements of 35.5mm across, 2.5mm thickness, and a total gram weight of 19.7-grams.
