Product Description
The sunny presentation from this Canadian pendant makes it perfect for year-round wear.
Taking the spotlight is a 0.71ct. round brilliant cut, natural Canadian diamond that has been ethically sourced from the Northwest Territories. The spready table of this gorgeous stone measures 5.67 x 5.63 x 3.50mm, facing up with a freckled appearance from the I-1 clarity, near colourless by gauge of G, with a stunning scintillation from the Very Good quality cut.
Being a Canadian mined stone, the girdle of the diamond has been laser inscribed with a unique serial number that is primarily used as a tracking method, which can be cross referenced on their website (www.mapleleafdiamonds.com/tracking). It was also graded and weighed prior to being set by GS Laboratories and can be referenced by the report number (http://certificate.gslaboratories.com).
In a halo like design, an eight-pointed star encompasses the brilliant cut, a 1.70 x 0.70mm round brilliant cut adorned at each point. These eight stones have an approximate total weight of 0.04ct. and qualities gauged by I-1 clarity, G-H colour, and Good cut.
The pendant is fitted with a hidden bail, built into the setting, which is suspended from a 46cm, 14k white gold box link chain.
Certificate of origin and appraisal provided by Maple Leaf Diamonds and GS Laboratories with a “replacement value” of $6,000.00.

Canadian diamond and gold mines have some of the strictest regulations when it comes down to ethical and environmental standards, ensuring that our ecosystems, environment and the people employed within these companies are taken care of. We believe in the social justice for Indigenous Canadian’s and support strong labour laws to ensure these workers, within the mines and surrounding areas, are treated well, paid well, and are protected by their Unions.
Here at Barry’s, we work very closely with Maple Leaf Diamonds because their Green Initiative aligns with our own. All their products, gold and diamonds alike, are ethically sourced and environmentally sound right here in Canada. In tandem with their product, we know that their employees are being respected and their hard work honored.
