One 18k white gold and diamond, custom made “star” pendant. Item condition is previously loved.
Hexagonal in shape, thirty-two round brilliant cut diamonds cover all six points of this star, making a twinkling statement.
Circling the open centre, the row is highlighted by a border of high polished gold, separating it from each point. Thirty of these rounds approximately measure 2.9mm to 3.22mm, while the remaining two approximately measure 2.0 – 1.8mm., totalling an approximate weight of 3.40cts. worth of VS to SI clarity diamonds, with stark white G-H colouring, and a twinkly Medium to Good quality cut. Due to its previously loved condition, two of the diamonds are chipped.
The top of the pendant is fitted with a “V” shaped bail, which is sizeable enough to be worn with most standard sized chains. A thicker chain may be suitable against the 6.1-gram weight of this diamond embedded pendant.
Certificate of appraisal provided by Gem Grade Appraisal Service, located in Toronto, with a “suggested insurance coverage” of $10,300.00.
