Product Description
While the defined square shape may not appeal to all tastes, there’s no denying it radiates a certain level of regal luxury, boasting its lavish appearance. With this notion, Maple Leaf Diamonds takes this Canadian mined engagement ring one step further by silhouetting the princess cut centre stone in an establishing frame of round brilliant cut diamonds, both extending and enhancing the already gorgeous spread this stone bears.
Measuring 5.43 x 5.38 x 4.05mm, the 1.03ct. princess cut centre stone puts on a dazzling show, the starburst centre a spectacle of fiery brilliance thanks to the Excellent quality cut that is accented by the near colourless G grading, and eye-clean SI-2 clarity.
Having been graded and weighed by GS Laboratories, prior to being set in the mount, the Canadian stone has exact quality information as well as a unique laser inscription along the girdle, and a GS Number. This inscription matches the documentation provided and is used as both proof of authenticity, as well as a form of tracking. The CM number can be cross referenced on the Maple Leaf Diamonds website (www.mapleleafdiamonds.com/tracking), while the GS Number can be referenced on their website (http://certificate.gslaboratories.com).
Set within the encompassing square shaped halo, and climbing along the ceiling of the band, a total of forty-two round brilliant cut natural diamonds, accumulating an approximate total weight of 0.25ct., embellish the Pure White 18k (14% Palladium) nickel-free gold. These 1.30 to 1.00mm sized diamonds may be petite in size, but they offer a fiery brilliance due to their stunning qualities gauged by VS-2 to SI-1 clarity, F-G near colourless, and Very Good quality cut.
Certificate of Origin and Evaluation provided by Maple Leaf Diamonds and GS Laboratories, with a “replacement value” of $14,800.00.

Canadian diamond and gold mines have some of the strictest regulations when it comes down to ethical and environmental standards, ensuring that our ecosystems, environment and the people employed within these companies are taken care of. We believe in the social justice for Indigenous Canadian’s and support strong labour laws to ensure these workers, within the mines and surrounding areas, are treated well, paid well, and are protected by their Unions.
