Crafted in 18kt white gold, this floral brooch is decorated with rubies, green garnets, and diamonds to create a delicate duo, bound together with a yellow gold ribbon and attached to a hinged pin and catch. T
here is a total of eight rubies, weighing approximately 1.60ctw. These stones are medium dark, strong, slightly to strong purplish red in colour, with moderate to slight inclusions and medium to good cut. Six of these stones make up the petals on the one blossom, one as a leaf on the same, and one as the pistil of the green arrangement.
There are also eight round faceted green garnets, weighing approximately 1.35ctw. These gems are gauged at medium, strong, slightly yellowish green tones, with like characteristics to their red counterparts. Six of the garnets make up the petals on the other flower, its leaf, and the pistil in within the rubies.
Imbedded into the gold ribbon and adorned as a backdrop for the flowers are a total of twenty-nine round brilliant cut diamonds, weighing approximately 0.37ctw. These stones have been matched in their characteristics of SI clarities, G-H-I colour range and medium cut.
