One sterling silver, Birks coffee pot. Item is trademarked, previously enjoyed and in very good condition. This antique piece vertically elongated, with a melon body style. The lid is attached to the pot by a hinge, flowing into the handle that begins in silver with floral detail, before turning into a wooden handle with a thumb-piece, complete with further detailed silver. The interior lip of the lid is marked with a C partially encompassing a lion head, a lion passant and the letter “F”. The interior or the pot bears a filter at the spout. The bottom of the pot is marked “BIRKS”, with a C partially encompassing a lion head, a lion passant and the letter “F”, “STERLING” and “4”, “U 59/2”. Measuring 270mm (w) x 240mm (h) and weighing 825 grams. Patina on the exterior.
