One custom made, platinum and diamond “car” brooch. Item condition is previously loved.

While Barry’s is lucky to showcase a plethora of majestic craftsmanship through our many pieces, this Estate brooch is a perfect example of the unique and one-of-a-kind pieces we are proud to display.

Custom made in its design, this platinum brooch was fashioned into a car, decorated with enamel and diamond accents. Making up the side windows and windshield are a total of three baguette cut diamonds. Two of which, set in the windows, are “cut-to-fit”, while the windshield is straight. These step-cut beauties have approximate measurements of 4.1/2.7 – 2.0/1.6mm, an approximate total weight of 0.20ct., and qualities by gauge of VS to SI clarity, H-I colour, and Good to Very Good quality cut.

Displayed as headlights, two 2.2 – 2.21mm round brilliant cut diamonds have been set, while the remaining two 1.3mm round brilliant cuts decorate each enamelled tire. These four stones have an approximate total weight of 0.10ct., and qualities by gauge of SI clarity, G-H colour, and Good quality cut.

The whole piece approximately measures 32.0 – 10.0mm and is secured with a hinged pin and locking catch, holding against the 7.2-gram weight.

Certificate of appraisal provided by Gem Grade Appraisal Service, located in Toronto, with a “suggested insurance coverage” of $3,500.00.
