Product Description
An antique watercolour painting of the emblem of the Royal Air Force Medical Division, used by the Royal Air Force Medical Corps, Princess Mary's Royal Air Force Nursing Service Association, and Royal Air Force Medical Command. It consists of a crowned Caduceus with the inscription "Nec Aspera Terrent" (Difficulties be Damned) in Latin capital letters within a banner.
It is framed in a well-preserved and meticulously crafted golden-coloured wooden frame, framed by the English Picture Frame Shop on 157 James Street in Hamilton, owned by A.H. Hadwick. It measures approximately 16" x 13" and is in overall extremely fine condition.
