One Antique, Export Silver Box with Dragon Reliefs. Item is trademarked and the condition is extremely fine.
This rectangular box is crafted with a silver exterior and inner wood lining, featuring a silver hinged lid that is secured with a segmented tab. The exterior is decorated with three, three-clawed dragons on a textured background, wrapping around the sides and top of the box, telling of the era and culture of which it came from. The box approximately measures 95.03mm (w) x 168mm (l) x 58.18mm (h), with a weigh of 575 grams, and features the stamping “NK” for Nanking Store, Shanghai (c.1845-1940), and a Chinese marking on the bottom. There is some light wear such as minor scratching on the bottom, and dark patina on the dragon details.
