Eclectically designed, this fun and new-age band is the perfect combination of gemstone and diamond that would steal the show all on its own, or pair seamlessly with a solitaire engagement ring. Set in a wavy pattern down the centre of the open concept band are four, 4.0 – 3.0mm, oval shaped and faceted sapphires. These gorgeous “medium dark tone of strong, slightly violetish blue” coloured gems accumulate an approximate total weight of 0.85ct., each showing off its light to moderate internal inclusions, and subtle shimmer from the good cut. Weaving around each oval gemstone and lining either side of the band, half-eternity style, are a total of ninety-two, 0.9 – 0.8mm, round brilliant cut diamonds. These petite stones have an approximate total weight of 0.23ct., and qualities gauged by SI-2 to I-1 clarity, G-H colour, and good cut. Continuing the sweeping design, a strip of high polished gold ebbs and flows between the two borders around the bottom half of the piece. Currently sized at a 6.5. Certificate of appraisal provided by Gem Grade Appraisal Service, located in Toronto, with a “suggested insurance coverage” of $3,200.00.
